Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect
- Name, email address, phone number and delivery address
- Postcode entered in the delivery checker or calculator
- Order history and delivery instructions
- Trade account details, including ABN and trading name
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited
Why we collect it
To take and deliver your order, to quote freight outside our zones, to answer enquiries, and to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not disclose it for anyone else's marketing.
Payment information
Card details are captured and processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store full card numbers on our systems.
Who we share it with
Our delivery contractors and pallet couriers, limited to what is needed to complete a delivery, and our payment and email providers.
We may disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
Order and tax records are kept for five years as required by Australian law. Enquiry records are kept for two years. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing privacy@magnexa.com.au. We respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Subscription rainfall prompts
For Subscriptions we use the delivery postcode with weather data to time an optional email after significant rain, offering an earlier delivery. You can turn this off in the account view at any time.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart and remember your delivery postcode. You can block cookies in your browser, though the cart will not persist between visits if you do.
