What it does
The first thing people notice is the feel. Water carrying magnesium minerals feels softer underfoot and slips differently through your hands than a heavily chlorinated pool does.
The second is the smell — or the absence of it. On a hot afternoon a mineral pool does not carry the sharp chlorine hit you get standing over a conventional one.
Both come from the same place: in a mineral system the magnesium works alongside a reduced chlorine level. Follow your equipment manufacturer's guidance for your sanitiser. Water also looks brighter and holds clarity between services.
Composition is published in full, including heavy metals and insolubles. Nothing is withheld as a proprietary blend.
